I drove down the west fork a couple years back on a trip to Big Lake. I was surprised how skinny it was. Could've been a bad snow year. It had a fair amount of pressure. They're not far apart, seems you could hit one in the morning and one after lunch.
I have a trip in mind below the confluence. Maybe this fall. Good luck to you, be nice to know how you do.

The confluence is approx. 10 miles above Wildcat Point.
The East fork has much more access.

The West Fork has always been skinny. It's not a river, I don't think it's even a stream. Just a trickle BUT..it's what we have in Az so thats what we fish !!!
Lots and lots of suckers below Wildcat point and below Buffalo crossing as well.
