Muddy dirty water and no action. Hope it clears up soon. I usually catch a good amount of trout in December

Landed a 13 inch on memorial day way down by granite reef, the water was somewhat clear. Went back today and it was like chocolate milk.

Went down to the salt this morning. Everything below phon D is unfishable with the flows 7 feet above normal and trees and bushes floating down stream. Above phon D is low flow barren wastelands

I got a chance to hit phon D Friday morning....

I got a chance to hit phon D Friday morning. There was a lot of water flowing and it was a bit muddy but no fish in the spots I normally catch fish.

Anybody have any luck on the lower salt with trout from phon D and below since they been dumping in dirty Verde water?
I have fished above phon D in the low flow area's and only hooked bass.

They have spread out with the lower flows.

Fished last Sunday towards granite reef. Lots of weeds floating down river and muddy water. I think after Wednesdays rain it will be some time before the water clears up from debris.

I have been catching at least 2 rainbows every trip. They have been scattered from blue point all the way down to granite reef. Actually caught a big meaty...

Found trout in the rapids of sheep's crossing and in the slow flows a mile above granite reef dam, a few good size and nice coloring than the typical stockers.

I have not fished in 3 weeks and may give a try later next week. I haven't caught any trout since middle to late February so I don't think your doing anything wrong.
