Tyler is the only Arizonian/former Arizonian to get the "Utah's Heritage Trout Challenge" (I have talked to Utah about changing the name) that I know of so far!!! Let me know if I am wrong.

It's weird
Dec 20, 2017 - 8:46 AM - by Litespeed1
It's weird.

I consider myself a pretty good at finding and catching browns yet I haven't caught a brown trout in any Arizona stream for two years (other than those designated for brown trout).
They've been officially eliminated from our non brown waters. Bummer.

6 month update
Jan 15, 2018 - 7:35 AM - by Flyfishinsteve64
I thought I would give an update since I haven't written any reports since I signed up to the forum 6 months or so ago. Things are going good. I just about have my lil single wide at hidden shores Yuma, all moved into and fixed up just the way I want. Now its time to do a lil more fishin. Not that I haven't been fishin cuz I have, just not as much as I expected too. I have fished the backwaters in the immediate area near the Imperial Dam with decent success. nothing over a 3.5 lb. largemouth... [Read More]

South Fork Snake River
Jan 08, 2018 - 2:38 PM - by dp820

For those of you that have fished the SF, is a 6wt necessary or can I do it with a 5? I'm hoping by that time of year to... [Read More]

Beeline Highway
Dec 07, 2017 - 6:15 PM - by Bucksnort
Sorry but this isn't fishing related except that when you head to the hills for fishing, a popular route is the Beeline.

I've seen a lot of beautiful stretches of highway but none as beautiful as the Beeline.

Lower Salt River
Sep 15, 2017 - 8:28 AM - by Bucksnort
I spoke to an angler who floats the Salt and fishes with spinning rods. He puts in at the parking area where the road to Saguaro Lake crosses over the Salt then goes downstream a couple of miles. I have forgotten the name of his take out point. He says he does it in inner tubes but I don't know just how these are arranged.

I have a pontoon boat which is powered either by oars or flippers or both. When the weather turns cooler, I may be interested in doing this.
