A new fire has started along the southern slopes of the Rim, in the area of Bonita Creek. If you recall, the Dude Fire swept through this same area in June 1990.

I think we humans have been exploring the wrong planet to colonize.
I'm thinking a frozen moon or planet further away from the sun, like Europa or Neptune. We would be more comfortable.

Flipping through the latest edition of Fly Fisherman magazine, I spotted some familiar designs in cork grips, under the "Artwork You Can Hold" article on page 30.

Seems like our own resident guide and poster mvtoro received a good plug on his Timmy Grip art on cork handles...congratulations, man, though this seems to be just the tip of the iceberg of your contributions to the fly fishing world.

Hi Everyone,

Been lurking the forum for a while and figured I'd say hello. I'm new to fly fishing (and fishing in general) within the last couple of months and previously spent most of my free time since a youngster in the Tucson pool halls and playing pool, so it's been nice to get outside and do some fishing! Just an FYI......AZG&F is enforcing the PFD laws on any kick boater using oars. If no oars are on the boat no PFD is needed. The law has been on the books for a while but never enforced. Now with all the kayakers and paddle boarders on the water they feel it needs to be enforced.
