For broker... THE FULL MONTY!:

There isn't a flatbed scanner in Utah County big enough to scan this bad boy, and it can't be roll-scanned because it's on watercolor board (because watercolor paper isn't big enough to accommodate a 30" fish) so this is actually taken from a photograph.

That is quite a compliment. When they're shrunken down it's easy to make them look detailed though.

These things take anywhere from a couple days to many many days. It just depends on size (of course) and if I can keep rolling on the painting and know what to do next, or if I can't figure out how to make it look like I want it to look. Like "painter's block" I guess I never really formally learned how to paint, so I'm sure there are techniques that every trained artist knows, that I have to struggle to figure out on my own. But that also means I should continue to get better.

Price for painting a commission depends on the size of the painting and the complexity of it. It's something we'd have to talk about and figure out according to what you want. But there would have to be some size and style that would fit pretty much everyone's budget.

The other thing is I have prints of almost all of these. More affordable and just as sexy.

Another beauty. I still have your Avatar painting as my background on my Work PC and people comment on it all the time.

Tim list the ones available and price in the sell trade buy forum. It couldn't hurt to sell a couple to tide you over the summer...

I got some prints from mvtoro and they are great. I couldn't decide which one to get so I bought them all in a small format. I thought I might give some away, but after seeing them I framed every one and hung 'em on the wall. At home and work.

I also wanted a showpiece so I got the closeup of a Brown that he uses as an avatar. Put it a nice 26"x20" frame and it looks awesome in the home office.

Thanks Mvtoro - great stuff.

Big print of Brown Trout

A couple others...
