Lower Black River Report

Tried the Lower Black this past Saturday w/ a couple of my buddies. The river was running chocolate brown, we assume frome additional runnoff created by the Wallow fire, upstream. This added up to a 0 fish day.

Just got back from the upper W. Fork. Not as many Brownies as before, but they're there. Unfortunately, today was also the day AZG&F decided to survey the stream. They found Apaches above the fish barriers, so that's good, they were also shocking below the barriers, so that may have impacted my results (at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it ). I'd say it's at 1/3 of what it was pre-fire, but it ain't zero! Sorry to post in the Bass section about troot .
