Man, that sucks! I've been stung while working on new customer houses and it seems to last about a day. The first time it lasted about a week. I need to stop putting my hand in places the scorp's hang out I have a great scorpion service if you need it.

Thanks for the info. This guy was in my worm compost bin and I was trying to crush his tail with a piece of cardboard a little larger than apostate stamp. Hubris. His long tail reached around and zinged me so hard, he was stuck to my finger for a split second.
I did end up squishing him with the little cardboard square but, I doubt I'll try that method again.
I am stiii unable to peel an orange so, I doubt I would have been much good at tying a fly on today.

I love auto spell check. Although I am an apostate Christian, I meant to type postage stamp.

You went after him with cardboard the size of a postage stamp? Ouch, lesson learned. I hate those little buggers.
