Route to Perkins

If I am at Ashurst Lake, what is the easiest route to Perkins?

David,

Thanks for the link. Do you think it's worth the trip to Perkins this time of the year? Will it be frozen? My circadian fly fishing seasonal clock hasn't adjusted to Arizona. At this time of the year and at the altitude of Perkins, I would expect it to be frozen or inaccessible or both, which is the reason I rarely fished in the winter. I tied flies and reloaded ammunition and shoveled occasional snow. I'm not an ice fisherman (probably couldn't catch any ice anyway) and don't relish the idea of freezing my patooty on a frozen lake.

Yes, It worth the trip to Perkins this time of year! Lakes and ponds above 7000 feet elevation don't usually freeze till December.
