Thanks, Mike (Seldom)..it was fun looking back and reliving that first magic trip to Montana.

Joe has passed on a few years ago, Drew is now head guide at Blue Ribbon, married with a young son and Don is still fishing, hunting and hawk-banding - drops by for coffee once or twice a week.

Funny coincidence...met up with Bucksnort and his wife a couple of months ago in Gilbert, mostly due to his relationship with one of my fellow fly fishing hometown guys. We both took the free casting lessons in our high school gym one winter many years ago from Joe and Frank Mele, though he still fished he was always a serious big game hunter.

Yeah I am actually making him a fiberglass flyrod soon .

I'll enjoy seeing it...Don is all about 2 and 3 wts. these days. I love my little fiberglass rods for small streams - bamboo too.

Yeah he told me he fishing nothing but 2&3wts all summer. I making him a Kabuto 7'-3wt with snake brand universal guides , stacked bamboo reel seat and Joe Arguello stripping guide .
