Intermediate sink tip leaders

What length and type of leader should I be using when I'm fishing an intermediate sink tip line in Stillwater's? Particularly when I'm fishing an unbeaded leech (or should it be a beaded leech???) or an AP emerger?

I really like short leaders when fishing moving flies on sinking lines. No more than 5 ft, I prefer 36 inches...
