Call me. We really need to do this. One of those rare opportunities we need to get on! Figure 'em out, I'll make the drive. Maybe Ev will come eh?

How is the road up there currently and has most of the trash up there been cleaned up?

We got a hatchery truck up it- as long as you have clearance you should be fine, just take your time going up. It is not friendly to long wheel bases and street clearance (it claimed a running board of a volunteer). The lake hasn't been used much in the past year- nothing more than a few beer cans and old fire rings, the scouts clean it up a few times each summer. It is city property and they can close access if not kept clean-please do you part to keep it pristine. Post your fishing reports!

Float Tubes

In the past, float tubes were not even legal to use on Frye Mesa. Is that still the case?

Job well done on the part of everyone involved. I will have to add that lake to my list.
Jason, thank you for taking the time to share info and pictures.
Jeremy V... welcome to the site.

Excellent job by all involved.
I'll make the drive for sure, but I also would like to know if float tubes are allowed.

My buddy Mark, his son Chris & I are planning an assault on Frye Mesa Reservoir early AM Saturday 03/05. We've got most patterns covered. Floating and Sink Tip lines. Ready to rock.

Biggest question (which has been voiced in this thread) is can we float tube or are we restricted to fishing from shore ?

We can certainly adapt but any information in this regard would certainly be appreciated.
