So glad that you are okay... definitely a less than subtle reminder to be careful.

We took that road too. It is not a very smooth road in areas. No pot-holes or anything, just bumpy, and a challenge at times to keep my little truck going straight at 70 mph. A semi going 70mph on that road with gusty winds is an accident waiting to happen.

That must have been one **** of 5 seconds. I've had a couple of close calls in my life too.

Glad there were no injuries. Glad to hear Tony didn't get a speeding ticket!

I stopped to take a picture at the same spot your first pic is from... and that truck passed us while we were standing out of the truck. I remember all of the scrapped cars inthe back. You guys were just a little behind us leaving Farmington... that's crazy!

Damn! Glad you guys are alright. That wind was throwing my camper all over the place on the way home. I can just imagine what it does to a big semi! I remember one time coming home from the rim a semi carrying 2x4"s tipped over on incoming traffic. The unfortunate soul going the other direction had lumber shooting through the windshield and steel of the car. Too bad about biscuit, hope he's alright. I would imagine after a crash with an elk his truck is in bad shape! Scary stuff.
