They likely did. Back to scissors, I tied with dr. Slicks yesterday and didn't like em for comfort reasons. I keep my scissors looped over my right ring finger as I tie. The slicks were in the way and uncomfortable. Back to the anvils. They don't sell them at Desert Sportsman. I got mine at bps.

Zthor, do you have sausages for fingers are you relatively human? Cause I'm only five foot one, I got a pain in my neck They might fit my dainty digits...

I use a pair of Westcott titanium embroidery scissors. Work great and have a lifetime warranty. They can be found at sewing stores or wally worlds with a sewing department. I like the small fingered version but they also make a pair with larger holes for the fat fingered types. They also make them in curved and straight. I perfer the curved though I own both.

I have a couple pair of Dr. Slicks and a few others and they're nice, but I keep going back to these:


and because they aren't for fly fishing/tying they're not ridiculously overpriced. You can get them on Amazon or Walmart's website for $8.88.
