Water Clarity

This past week, I visited, Kinnicknick, Ashurst, and Long Lake. Water clarity in these lakes looks like weak chocolate milk. If you find a photo of Kinniknick on Google Earth, water in this photo is also of the same clarity. Next to Kinnicknick Lake is a nice looking lake by the name of Cow Lake. It was very clear. I don't think there are fish in it, which is too bad for me because I prefer fishing clear moving or still water.

Is this normal for these lakes?
