Did the last ones I gave you go cold???

And Litespeed, no, you cannot play with fire as if they're ov-gloves. Let's fish soon!

Little boxes made of ticky tacky, little boxes on the hillside, little boxes all the same.

For all the reasons already mentioned about the peace when enjoying the outdoors (when it is cool enough), but fishing, no matter if conventional or fly, is about the moment of action that something hit your hook. You can enjoy the time just stitting there relaxing (if conventional fishing) or the simple actions of casting a fly onto the waters surface, or stripping a nymph through the waters and this is called fishing. However, it changes everything when you get that moment when something hits your fly or hook and it now gets into the realm of "Catching" which is the whole reward of being out there in the first place. You can be out there all day or weekend or however long and be fishing the whole time, but not be satisfied or rewarded in you mind untill you get into that catching stage. Out of all the time spent fishing it is that 1-2% of catching time that seams to drive us to our addiction.

Sometimes it's about being in a state of FLOW

Like others have said, cheaper than a psychiatrist/psychologist. Fly fishing/guiding/teaching was the way I got into mental health, and why I chose Recreation as my avenue and primary modality. It saves people.

It's cheaper than benzo's...if you don't count the wreckage that occurs when you start falling for shiny things or buying materials.
