good wading boots. EXTRA LINES, EXTRA RODS, the coral, and the fish will destroy your gear.

start finding a liking for spam.

work out your arms. they'll get tired no doubt.

also, warn your work that you could be missing an extra week.. as you know there is only one flight in/out a week.. if you get weather, your flight will get grounded.. but hey.. another week on the flats isn't bad!

goodluck. if youve never fished flats, prepare for a life changing experience.
