I pulled about an eighth of an inch of stinger out using my magnifying light and boy, does it feel a lot better.
I was nauseous and had a little wobbly vision this morning so, I'm well pleased with my bodkin and tweezers.

I hate them. You have to keep careful since they show up in the most unexpected places. What did the Doc tell you to do ?

Was I supposed to call the doctor? I've been bitten and stung by worse stuff.

I sat on one once in 2nd grade and was nailed in the hinny. I assure you that no human being has stood up faster. I also would have beat Carl Lewis back to the house.

Too bad I was not a few years older so I might have enjoyed the ice treatment the hot nurse gave my butt.

IIRC my rear end hurt for about a week.

I was pulling out the garage today and saw one on the side of a random box. Guess they like shaded areas away from the heat. I came back out with a yard stick (for extra reach, after reading this thread) and a hammer and nailed it hah.

It was close to my camping/fishing gear! So I'm going to be extra careful around that stuff that has just been sitting in scorpion territory.
Also, I found a bunch of small babies in a rolled up carpet a few weeks back. Little tan/yellow/pumkin colored ones.

If this weren't a family friendly site I would have plenty of comments on this.
