Always Getting Better

I've been tying a lot of flies today. I've been on mini-hoppers and it feels good when you get in the groove and start cranking them out.

I switched over to woolly buggers and this is the first one I tied. I've only tied a little over a dozen so I thought it came out pretty well.

Just been enjoying my day tying flies. It is really satisfying to see these creations come together. Fly tying has become really fun for me over the past month.

Looks decent enough I won't be ashamed to give it away .

Size eight (3xl). Olive marabou tail. Brown chenille. Dark copper wire rib. Saddle hackle has some deep red and black in with the brown. Weighted with some lead wire underneath.
