Thanks and a X-mas Discount for my AZFAT bros!

First I want to say that I've always appreciated that you guys are among my very first supporters when I started painting.

Stuff keeps getting slowly better on that front: Selling more art, diversifying into oil paintings and rod grips, some magazine articles on my work, some of my work will be on Orvis hats, buffs, shirts etc. this fall. Cool stuff. But if I didn't have encouragement at the beginning from my brothers on AZFAT I might not have stuck it out this far.

To say "thanks" I wanted to give you guys a discount for anything you might want to buy at http://www.timjohnsongallery.com Just use code: AZFAT25 and you'll get 25% of anything on the site.

There's a lot of artwork on there now, some of which I haven't shared here yet, so check it out.

Also, I've just now added a bunch of fly fishing ties to the site featuring my artwork, for you guys who have to wear one every once in a while. click here Here is a small sample: (The code works for these too)

Here are some more pics of some of my newer artwork that you may not have seen yet. Mostly commissions.

There's way more on the site. If you need something by Christmas, please order ASAP!

Thanks! So far I've just been doing them on a commission basis to rods that are already complete. Now I'm thinking about getting very nice grips and doing the work on them for sale to people building their own rod, or custom builders.

I don't think it's ink that he uses on the grips but rather he burns the designs into the cork. I think…

This is correct. I use pyrography tools to burn the image into the cork. So it doesn't matter if they get wet, etc. You can still fully use your rod

I got the OK to decorate the guest bedroom so I will be purchasing a few of your prints. Can't decide which ones.
