Tube Flies

Anyone around here tie tube flies? I'm just starting to get into it and ordered an HMH Spinner vice for tying them. It seems to me tube flies would do very well for Pike up at Lake Mary and probably for Bass too down here in the valley lakes. I haven't ran into very many people in AZ tying on tubes but maybe that's because most fly fisherman here seem to go after trout exclusively, and tube flies wouldn't be very applicable in that area IMO.

I have used tube flies when I lived in New York State and fished the lower Niagara River or the Salmon and Steelhead streams running into Lakes Erie and Ontario.
Out here for pike and muskie (in New Mexico) I have used large tandem streamers similar to the ones Kelly Galloup ties or a large streamer tied with trailing hook.
Hooks for the streamer are Mustad 36717 streamer (6X long and a 2X wire, I believe) size 2 and the trailer is a Tiemco 105 size 4, connected with 30lb mono or floro lashed down and super glued. For the body I use Mylar tubing and for the "wing" I use Steve Farrar's SF blend (great material and an excellent color selection) along with a Fish Skull baitfish head to fit the hook.
My streamers are at least 8" long.
