Lie and Tie

Hey kids, time for the second annual AZFat Holiday Lie and Tie at my place in Tempe.

When: Friday, December 7th at 6:00pm.

I will provide food and sodas. Bring your own vices and vises .

It's a great time to hang-out with fellow AZFat members, talk fishing, and tie flies.

RSVP by replying to this thread and I will PM my address next week. Oh, and feel free to suggest a pattern for this year. Last year's pattern was Simi Seal Leaches. We had a great turn out. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new!

Cheers,
Chadders

I will check my schedule.... and see if I can get away from my medical recovery to do some lieing. I cannot do any tieing since I forgot my tying stuff at apartment in Tucson ( went out on another medical leav and had another spinal laser surgery on L3/L4 of lower back on Nov-13). I think my wife may be working at the mall that night, so maybe I can get away too.

I might just make the trip from Tucson. I would assume you do more than just one tie. If anyone wants to learn Quigly Hackle Stackers. they are a fun tie.

plus I wanna see if mudbug still qualifies for the special olympic fly tying team.

Count me in! Anyone interested in tying floating patterns designed to suspend of the bottom? Like Phil Rowley's floating dragon fly nymph? Would be interesting to tie something unusual and unavailable in fly shops.
