Pleasant is an extremely tough lake, even on a boat. It's very clear and tends to fish deep year round. I'd save yourself the trip.

I would say go for it. Don't worry about water clarity, its irrelevant . Keep us posted.

New water should be coming into Pleasant soon and the white bass will be moving up stream. Worked two years ago.

flycaster, check on access before you make the drive. according to maricopa county parks:

UPDATE (as of 6/18/18): Due to low water levelsfor the Agua Fria Conservation Area, the Agua Fria boat launch area will remain closed until further notice. Maricopa County's Parks and Recreation Department will continue to monitor the situation closely, and provide updates as soon as they become available. Please check back in March 2019 for updates, when water levels are typically at their highest.

of course, this refers to the boat ramp at the end of table mesa road. if there are other access points, maybe the area is open? i've only been out there once but found fishing from shore tough near the boat ramp. not a lot of room to cast. was a beautiful area though, and made me wish i had a kayak!
