Clear glass bead heads

Have a friend and customer wanting something special tied up for him. Basically a size 16 zebra midge, black body and a blue thread wrap under a clear glass head.

Can't find any "clear" glass heads in my area. The blue color shows through and has been deadly at Becker.

Any ideas or where to find the "clear" heads.

I have purchased small clear glass beads at hobby lobby and I think at Michaels also.... I would offer to mail some to you but I think they are much too small for a size 16. The beads I have are ones I purchased for San Juan size flies.... I will double check though.

Spirit River sells silver lined clear glass beads. Used them for years on Chironomids.
