WOW!! What a grouping of toads! Now I know I'm going to have trouble focusing on work for this next week. Going to Christmas Tree next week with Payson Flycasters and also fishing Earl Park. And to top it all off, I've been tying tons of dem dar little black zebra's...hope I have enough! Nice to know the state record as well. If I'm so lucky, I'll take the measurements with abundant witnesses and photos and release it back for someone else's enjoyment!

Can't talk anymore, too much slobber on my shirt so I MUST go change it.

Payson Flycasters, how about getting together the next couple of days to discuss flies and maybe even tie some up??

David,

I would love to. I'm trying to get a list of flies together for Christmas Tree.

My husband and myself will be at xmas tree on Sunday also!! Sounds like we're in for a good time. We'll be at Earl on Sat also so give a waive and a shout if you want.. promise we'll say hi

Sorry to hear you all had such a good time at Hawley without us. I hope Mike's ice cream lived up to our reputation ... Next time - we're there.

I don't think that is possible, but it is pretty tough to go wrong with milk, sugar, half and half, cream, and a little vanilla.

Great group of folks. I know I speak for the wife and son when I say we had a blast. Thanks for coming.

I would rent that campground again. Very nice. We will probably shoot for Hurricane again next year though. We will see.

Great Trip

We had a great time camping and fishing with you all. Good to put a few more names with faces and see old friends. Certainly looking forward to the next one. Thanks again Mike for another success.

We really liked the campground and of course the potluck.

Wind was tough but with the trolling motor on the canoe we could power through it. In fact, that thing would throw a wake. Rhonda caught her first AZ trout.

Also, it was our pups (Golden's) first camping trip and they had the best time with all the kids coming by and showering them with hugs and petting and even some songs.

You guys rock. See ya next time.

What a great outing at Hawley over the weekend. Many thanks again to Seldom and family for putting all of this together. Wonderful people, food, and dogs for the kids, too! Can't wait for the next one:

Seldom preparing for the winds at Hawley

Braving the winds in the canoe

Ice cream, anyone?

Crawdads were a favorite of some at the pot luck

Again, thanks to all who put up with our clan and for the wonderful food (brats and brisket, nothing but the best). We will see all of you at the next one.
