Weekend Lee's Ferry Trip
Planning on fishing the weekend of the 10th. Taking a crewcab, so there's room for exrta bodies who want a ride up. Just let me know.
Likely driving up the evening of the 9th and staying 10th, perhaps driving home 11th afternoon or evening.

Just to clarify, I'm not offering to split fuel or anything, just offering empty seats for anyone who wanted to go up.

Sometimes I like solo fishing trips the best. Give us a report when you get back. I've spent most of my life here in Az and still have yet to fly fish the Ferry. I've had some awesome offers to fish it with great guys like Litespeed1 and others but it just hasn't worked out so far. Have fun man!

Hey Mikey-Did you ever make it to the Ferry? I haven't been there for about six months. On that trip my boat battery died and I didn't get to fish much but the fishing was pretty slow. That was the weekend G&F did a meeting at Marble Canyon and explained that the food base had declined noticeably and thought that was the main reason for the much lower numbers of larger fish in the river. I've fished the Ferry for about 30 years and I'm very concerned about these latest reports. I believe that the artificial floods that are being carried out in the fall are big reason for the declining numbers. Not sure if they did a flood this fall so maybe they skipped it and the fishing may improve. Has anyone else been up there recently?

I should log in more often...
I did go. It was nice. mid 30s caught. Not my high point, but plenty of fun on the rod. I'm heading up again in a day or so; same rules apply as last time. I will be with a guide again. Taking a heated trailer this time
 If anyone is interested before tomorrow night, tnmbrown [at] outlook [dot] com The spring after (it's been a long time since posting) I timed it just a week after the after floods and the fishing sucked. The super floods certainly did have a horrid impact. Mikey-
