Hey theapachetrout,

All the campgrounds on the East Fork Black are good (never any problems except for the road closed during monsoons the year after the fire, but good ever since). The campground on the West Fork Black is a different story. That is still closed since the fire.

Fishing on the East Fork Black also is good (for the most part didn't have problems after the fire). Again, the West Fork Black is a different story. The West Fork experienced a partial fish kill from the middle reaches down to the Black. However, a portion has rebounded very well with good fishing around the campground area. I wouldn't bother with the meadows.

Don't know about the ponds at Lazy Trout.

Have fun.
