Lees Ferry Walkin Area Video

Hey Guys,

Im creating a series of videos about fly fishing at walk in area at Lees Ferry including some tips and techniques to use. Here is Youtube link to part 1 below.Let me know what you think and I appreciate likes, comments, etc..

As far as the state stocking rainbows at the walkin area I think that’s another bad idea and don’t think its necessary right now. In my opinion the fishing at the “walk in “improved significantly in 2017 and my gut is that this year will be even better. I agree 100% with stoneflynut. If they feel the need to stock the walkin area let it be triploids!!! Thanks, Ray

Great video on a great river!

My wife and I recently moved down from MT, in a big part because we private permit the GC about every other year Lee's to Pierce. Yep, fly fishing the side creeks and river :- )

Question. We have a 16' Aire Jaguarundi whitewater cataraft with a NRS fishing frame that will take an outboard. How many horsepower kickker would it take to push us upstream?
Thx,

Great video! I haven't been yet and I didn't realize how big the water was down there. And to use such small flies? Man!

Thanks man! I actually met Kristen fishing at the Walkin area one morning and she graciously offered to help me get some shots. Her help was invaluable and she is one **** of a fly fisher! I wish I could cast like her..
