Chevlon fishing report

I float tubed Chevlon last Sunday late afternoon at the inlet. Caught (5) bows in the 15"-17" range. I had no hits while stripping, all the action was from drifting slow and deep. The monsoons have brought the water level up may a foot or so and the ground cover around the shore line was all greened up. The road had some mud holes, but it wasn't bad. It was a good day to get away . The weather was perfect. FYI...
