Anybody ever had an undescended testicle?

Well my puppy did. I thought I'd get to fish a bit this week once I put new batteries In the boat but, oh no, the dog had major surgery and needs a sitter.
Im talking a 5 inch abdominal incision as well as the old nutzack slice....
How long will my sympathy cringing go on? Every time I think about it I get the willies. So much for my fishing life.
The cone is kind of comical in a cruel way.
