What's your favorite crawdad dubbing color?

I may have just found mine. Olive ARizona Simi seal mixed 50/50 with crawdad AZSS. Looks really good with a copper brown wire ribbing.

The other color I like when the crawdads seem to be a lighter shade is the Canadian Olive.

Glyph

I find myself using the Can Olive color the most for AZ. All the Canadian series of colors are made with 7 different colors of nylon added. When crawdads molt they turn a bluish color and the fish target them at this time because they are softer and easier to munch. All the Can colors have a blue and a violet. I believe (no scientific fact) that fish see individual colors instead of the total blended color. When they are darker I use Can brown. Crawdads change colors as the seasons change. I am coming out with a new crawdad pattern and they utilize some of these colors.

Awesome, look forward to the new color.

It's always great to hear from the source, I've come to those colors from trial and error (took pictures of crawdads throughout the year and tried to color match, then see how often that color would turn a fish). I've tried some blueish purple heavy mixes to try and match that odd color they become, but I just didn't get the same reaction as I have from those two simi colors.
