Fly Swap Pictures

It is the place to see flies from the swaps. It can also be used find the fly when you catch a fish on a swap fly - you can look it up and comment about it or send a message.
Many men go fishing their entire lives without knowing it is not fish they are after.

Other than being able to look at what people are tying for the swaps, this will be a good reference for those that receive flies.

For Instance...

I was at the ferry and things had died down for me. I was looking in my fly box for something different and found a lemonhead zebra midge (black zeeb, yellow bead) I got in a swap here. I got two fish on that fly and wanted to let the guy that tied it know. It was hard finding out who tied it though. I had to dig through posts and never found an actual picture of the fly, just the name which lead me to believe it was the fly I used.

Now with pics if you catch something or have a question, you can just let the guy now in the picture thread, or ask about his pattern.

Fly Swap Pictures

This is a great idea and thanks for posting the pictures.

One of the dries from the last swap reminded me of the time that I had to take a leach off of my leg after waiding in a lake back in Kansas.
