Upper Lake Mary pike

I have never really fished much for pike before. I was thinking about heading up to ULM for some pike action this weekend. Is it still early enough to catch them from shore? Any tips would be super helpful. Thanks!

Hit it a dozen times this year in a bass boat.... Pretty poor for pike... The walleye have been pretty good...... Go to the back of the lake and walk the banks..

Was thinking the same thing, Any info would be appreciated. Have been there in mid summer but not during this time of year. I understand they are in the weeds spawning.

Any advice would be appreciated.

if you ever get there on a windy day,,,set up a indicator with 2 bugs of your choice about 4 feet down...something dark or bright.i use micro jigs.find a very rocky bank on the roadside....use the wind and waves to give your bugs action.....crappie magic my friend...
hope this helps

The pike in ULM are most likely done spawning by now. They started in late February and were finished by March 10 in Rainbow Lake in Pinetop, elevation 6700 feet.
