The latest from NWS Albuquerque:

Quote:
AFTER A FEW LINGERING SNOW SHOWERS NEAR THE SOUTH CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS THURSDAY MORNING...THE ENTIRE AREA WILL SEE DRIER
WEATHER THURSDAY AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN COLD WITH
HIGHS GENERALLY FROM 10 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THROUGH THE
WEEKEND...DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED AS TEMPERATURES GRADUALLY WARM.
ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM COULD INCREASE PRECIPITATION CHANCES AND
DROP TEMPERATURES AGAIN EARLY IN THE NEXT WORK WEEK.
"Average" for the area would be about 40F for the high and 20F for the low.

That sounds colder than last year, and I froze my ***** off last year. Someone better check on us down at the campground to make sure we didn't freeze to death or get stuck to the side of the camper! Now I'm begining to wonder how well my camper will do in that low of temp!

All I know is, two years ago I had to get up and pee just outside my truck, the next morning I noticed it froze as soon as it hit the ground. Truck temp gage said 9 degrees that following morning. Bring wood, there is none down there. I've caught some nice browns not far from the camp ground.

Going to be 3 degrees tonight here. I just drove through the worst blizzard in my life today. Good thing it's going to clear out by Thursday.

From Alb:

Quote:
ALTHOUGH DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED TOWARD THE END OF THE WEEK AND
THROUGH THE WEEKEND...TEMPERATURES WILL BE VERY COLD. AFTER HIGHS
FROM 15 TO 30 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL ON WEDNESDAY...THURSDAYS HIGHS
WILL RANGE FROM 15 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL AND FRIDAYS WILL BE
FROM 10 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE WARMING TREND WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND BEFORE ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM
THREATENS THE STATE EARLY NEXT WEEK.
All considering, that is not too bad of a forecast at this point.

I was just up in Durango this weekend and if it's Red Mountain pass you're talking about, they were requiring Commercial vehicles to have chains. I don't know what it will be like the weekend you're going through. Good luck.
