Chip,
Great thread. I can't wait for the sun to rise on a fishing day! I feel sorry for all the people sleeping as I head up to the Mountains. Definitely not something you can explain to the "significant other", especially at 4:30 AM

The heck with o-dark-30, what about the weather?

Greer Lodge the March weekend of our big storm this year. I felt sorry for the folks in the lodge that hadn't brought their flyrods along for the weekend.... BTW, there are some toads in those ponds. The folks at the lodge said if I was nuts enough to flyfish in a snowstorm, access to the ponds was free.

Cheers

Well said Chip! Sure, we go through the motions, but honestly, does anyone ever really sleep the night before? A toast to fellow fly fishing brethren everywhere!

If only our wives read these things. I could see her now. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Ya'all are great.

Have a great weekend, everyone. New home stuff calls, but it looks like I may head to the promised land Sunday morning!

You have worked your *** off all week and instead of sleeping in like a normal person, you're up and at'em when only bad women and burglars are awake.

God only knows what kind of deal you may of had to make with your spouse or significant other. Payback can be **** I'm told.

So, with a Silver Bullet in my hand, "Here's to You."

Quite honestly one of the most profound things I've ever read, from one of the people I wish I could call family.
