"buddy Sanders Fund"

setting up a paypal account now. I'm thinking a "FISH FOR BUDDY" event next weekend or a BBQ at my house to accept donations.

SJDRFT (PAUL) is flying in on friday.

Words of Wisdom for the day : "Life is like Flycasting...when you have too much line out, just Slow Down and Shorten Up."
Most of us tend to put more and effort, go faster and faster until we begin to "Chase the Snake."
Interesting that we have a rattler posted already on the board.
Seriously, best to Buddy, I'm sure he is OK, and will bounce back.
****, I figured he just bought a flatscreen TV so he could watch "The Price Is Right" and "O'Reilly" and ran out of room in his workshop.

Can I recommend Gambler's Anonymous or even the Gambling Problem Hotline 1-800-639-8783. I can also empty my ashtray for spare change.

AZFAT Charities a Call to Action

Upon further reflection regarding Buddy’s dire situation, I believe that there is an element of evil at work in our sport and we need to take aggressive steps to deal with it. I believe at the root of this is that idle hands are the devil’s workshop. How else would you account for pillars of the sport, such as Buddy, turning their backs on a past time that defines them? There are other examples, Green Weenie’s near disappearance from the face of the planet and don’t even get me started on the recent Pyramid Lake debacle. I mean really, winning all that money on a FISHING trip. It is just Un-American.

We need to act quickly before we loose more victims to this scourge that is sweeping our sport. Sadly it is probably too late for Buddy. But every good cause needs a martyr.

I would like to announce the formation of the Buddy Sanders Memorial Make ‘em Fish Foundation. The goal of this organization is to promote fishing as a lifestyle to be pursued during every waking minute. This will be accomplished by providing lanterns and headlamps to all anglers so that we are no longer tied to only the daylight hours in order to pursue our passion. With this extra fishing time, there is absolutely no chance that any of us will be successful at anything other than fishing and we will be able to ensure that gambling, women, booz, families nor jobs claim another victim in our sport.

Won’t you please help? Cash donations are appreciated, as are AA batteries. With your help, we can leave the light on for us all.

Someone needs to get out fishing... and I'm not talking about Buddy.
