Lee's Ferry Questions

I have a friend that is from AZ, buy moved to Alaska and took up fly fishing. He is coming into town late March with his girl friend to visit friends and family, and is looking to to take the girlfriend, who is a kick *** angler, fishing in AZ, if possible. I told him that that many of the places in AZ, at that time of year, probably would still be inaccessible, but that Lee's Ferry may be good bet.

I have never fished Lee's Ferry, so I have no clue regarding what the conditions would be like in late March. I know flow rates for the San Juan can be very high in the spring, but I have no clue as to how the Colorado is managed at Lee's Ferry and whether mid to late march is a good time, or bad time to do a float trip.

Just looking for some general feedback to pass along.
