Freak out on Buzfly! Unbelievably cool people.

Sent some emails to Buzfly about buying some transfer foils to improve on my already kickfishbutt crease flies and he sent me all the stuff I ordered plus, a bunch of other stuff to try. Even a sample fly.
He's also the guy who steered me toward my guide and gave me a list of places to go and eat.
His click click web store is down but he takes orders and over, over delivers.
sent me cool stickers too. I may start ghettoizing my little red boat..
Brad Buzzi. good man.
Check out his stuff.

The guys who fast forward their thread wraps and other boring steps are the only ones I can stand to watch. I end up clicking through all other videos just to see important steps. I don't tie flies that take me more than 5 min to tie anymore anyways.

Luddite:

Member of organized groups of early 19th-century English craftsmen who surreptitiously destroyed the textile machinery that was replacing them. The movement began in Nottingham in 1811 and spread to other areas in 1812. The Luddites, or “Ludds,” were named after a probably mythical leader, Ned Ludd. They operated at night and often enjoyed local support. Harsh repressive measures by the government included a mass trial at York in 1813 that resulted in many hangings and banishments. The term Luddite was later used to describe anyone opposed to technological change.

You'd be amazed at what you can tie in 5 minutes if you practice tying at production speeds. I can crank out mini hoppers in under 5 minutes easily, as well as ehc, pt, he.... And those are the ones I can tie decently well in 5 minutes.

Charlie Craven can tie a pheasant tail and several other staple flies in 2 minutes- and they look a lot better than ones that I take my time on. (he can tie a PT in less than 1:35)
