The retired schoolteacher out of Springerville? He coached me a bit at Silver Creek one day, had the technique for catching big fish there..I must have offended him a bit when I turned down his offer for a pellet fly - called me a "purist" here on this site. Nice man, though.

There was another fellow I met at Silver Creek one day, quite a while ago, a friend of his and knowledgeable about the local fishing..on this forum as well, had a different handle but equally generous with his advice.

I used to fish SC in the winter about 4 times a week and met Darrell many times also.
Since moving back to Lakeside in April I've wondered the same about Flashback. He had family up in Utah and perhaps went north for some good fishing. Hope his health is holding up. He was a good one.
