Black River Video

Last Saturday I took my 11 year old nephew to the Black for the first time. I wanted to make it memorable so I made this video for him of our trip. It has a little Cheez but if you can get past that I think you'll like it.

Very nice ...on many counts ...the video, the fish (chubs rule), the scenery and most of all taking a kid fishing!

The whole experience brings back some memories on this board of lots of trips to the Black and lots of reports like this.

I am electroncially challenged so I am sure this is a dumb question ...on the scenes where you are driving the roads are you controlling the drone while driving?

BlkRvr,

The intense look on your nephew's face in the first close up of him when he hooks a fish, from his right side, is priceless. It's there for only a second or two.

Is the one butt ugly fish a sucker? In my opinion, there are only two types of suckers. Those that are dead and those that are about to die.

BlkRvr,

For many years, newbies have ask me what they can do to improve catching trout. I tell them to, on each outing, kiss their first fish on the top of its head. That always guarantees more trout.

I was disappointed in your video in that your nephew didn't kiss any fish. What's up with that?

Absolutely Awesome!

I think I might have seen you guys on Saturday. Were you in a gray F150 parked on that bend overlooking the canyon?

Hopefully the rotenone doesn't reach that far down when they do in the West Fork...
