Ya, she is almost comatose with lack of energy! Poor gal, surprised she makes it out bed in the morning.

One time Gretchen came over to check on our stay and we listened about horse stories for about 2 hours...she is very knowledgeable about those horses. She was a great host and "let those mustangs run free".....

I believe there is some payback coming your way, son. You're pretty funny.

But I thought Miss Gretchen was a lovely person. Slow to warm up, but fairly conversational when she gets a chance to talk.

P.S. how the list? do we have an update?

Who am I missing?
Any of the Texas crew again this year?

We could squeeze another person into the Stone House but they would be couchin’ it or sleeping on a cot. Couchin’ it is really not that bad considering the caliber of snore’ers in our group.

The CHIEF's crew will be a Abe's as usually. It will be nice to see everyone freezing again.

I'm going.

Perhaps I'll try Cottonwood this time. I believe everyone in the camping party survived last year, so I know it's do-able.

Bill B and I sat down last night and discussed ...right now it doesn't look like we will make it this year. Bill B is definately out ...I will not close the door completely but it doesn't look promising. If things do work out I get a place at Abe's. Sure was fun last year!!!

Barley survived! Last year was one cold mother. If you have a deisel make sure you have a plug-in on that thing, mine didn't and had troubles starting. The campers water lines froze solid and never had running water the whole time. If you have a space heater bring it, they worked wonders, never had to have the camper heater on at all. It was warm in the camper, but not enough to thaw out the water lines. I'm not sure how you can keep those running in that kind of weather.

Last year was record cold.

Pipes froze back here in Phoenix. The fine inn-keeper of The Hideaway did not have water until Sunday. The pipes were froze at the meter for the condo units until Saturday. There were widespread pipe problems in the SW. For many locations, including the Juan, it was the coldest in 30 years!

It is January. The first "Juanuary", we had good weather and water conditions. The second year it turned cold the last 36 hours. Last year it was brutal.

I dunno what type of weather we will get next year, but I'll be there to find out.

10-4, Seymour. I'll be there, too. Have longhandles, will fish.
