Kevin your legs are long enough so naked fishing should be really easy for you.

Yea, I did some nooooodie fishing on the Juan. That was years ago before it got so crowded. Had a great conversation with another one time who was also nooooooodie fishing. We kind of surprised each other.

That's why we all fish barbless.

But 5 1/2"? That's ambitious considering it will probably be right around freezing.

I think this is the best forecast weather out of the 4 years we have been doing this trip.

Discussion from the NWS Albuquerque:

Quote:
AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM
300 AM MST WED JAN 14 2009

.DISCUSSION...
A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE AT 500 MB WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD OVER THE WESTERN U.S. THROUGH THE WEEKEND BEFORE CROSSING NEW MEXICO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THIS FEATURE WILL BLOCK WEATHER SYSTEMS FROM REACHING THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT...WITH DRY CONDITIONS EXPECTED UNTIL PERHAPS THE MIDDLE TO LATTER PART OF NEXT WEEK. HOWEVER...A BACK DOOR COLD FRONT WILL SNEAK INTO THE EAST LATER TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY...DROPPING HIGH TEMPERATURES AS MUCH AS 13 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL ON PORTIONS OF THE PLAINS BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON...WHILE TEMPERATURES ALONG AND WEST OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN REMAIN
STEADY. FRIDAY THROUGH TUESDAY THE FORECAST AREA WILL EXPERIENCE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES...WITH HIGHS PEAKING AT READINGS 5 TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL ON MONDAY. SUNDAY SHOULD SEE HIGHS A LITTLE COOLER THAN EITHER SATURDAY OR MONDAY BECAUSE EASTERLY FLOW WILL BRIEFLY STRENGTHEN OVER NEW MEXICO AS THE CENTER OF THE 500 MB HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM CROSSES THE NORTHERN ROCKIES IN ROUTE TO OUR STATE.
Forecast package:

This is rough to read. I got a brand new one sitting in my garage with an old stove from the 40's that my buddy gave me. I just can't pass up the Cardinal football game seat that was give to me. You know, the first time the weather is going to be clear and sunny and WARM the Phoenix Cardinals are going to play in the NFC Championship game, trust me I did not see that coming down the pipe. Have fun all, and for Pete's sake watch out for Elk and swinging tractor trailers.
