For me, this forum has been mostly off line, and other times it doesn't work properly. Don't know about other folks.... Took the float tube to Chevlon last Sunday, the weather was perfect.

PC fly-fishermen get their panties in a wad when anyone speaks of location, keeping even a rubber stocker fish to eat, etc. They insist all fish should die of old age. So, it kills blogs when nobody wants to cause a conflict.

People have started to note the impact of more people in the limited AZ resources in the last 4-5 years. Naturally people become closed off after that. Lots of traffic this site draws.

I was wondering the same when considering posting some fish porn from a recent trip to Bend, OR and figured what is the point with such little activity on the site these days.

I was surprised at how much I had to share the water in Oregon, mid-week no less. Things are getting crowded around there. I saw one bumper sticker that said “Bend Sucks, tell your friends”.

I can understand if folks do not want to promote fly fishing in AZ because at some point it will get too crowded.... might be a few years, but it will happen.

I am conflicted because I really do I like sharing and reading about others’ adventures and advice.

I just have not fished a whole lot the last couple of years. Might be hitting the whites in a couple weeks.

For me it’s been mainly the lack of doing any fishing unfortunately, due to health and other obligations. Secondly, I too have experienced serious technical issues on the website in recent months. I miss fishing and I miss the reports on this forum when I am not able to fish.

Gents,

I don't want to come across as a Colorado snob but I noticed the same thing with the lack of postings and responses before I departed Colorado for the desert. There is a Colorado fishing forum where chatter is almost out of control. I joined this forum shortly before leaving Colorado and was surprised at the lack of chatter. Colorado has the same problem with people moving there. In fact, I quit going to some of my favorite places, like Deckers, because you had to take your own rock to stand on.
