New Fly Rod

I am buying a new fly rod and I am interested in the Redington Classic Trout. Is this rod worth buying?

Yes for the price point. But if you hurry Cabela's has them for $99.99.

I have a 4wt 8'6" that I love but am looking to sell. 75$ and it can be yours!

It's been discontinued for some time. I've got a 4wt and a 5wt CT. They definitely do the job for me. Kirk's is a good price. Cheaper than they are on clearance for and I know he hasn't had it long. Barely used.

CT's are a great rod for the price, and rank surprisingly well against some more expensive rods as well. Do some looking around before buying one at full retail, the CT is a widely fished rod series. Kirk is asking a fair price for his, and an 8'6 4wt would be a nice all around creek/small river rod.

There have been rumors that the CT is basically a Chinese/korean made LL.

Sorry Kirk but I already have an 8 foot 4 weight. Thank you for the offer though!

I have also been looking at a Redington Voyant. Has anybody fished the Voyant?

I fish a 9'6'' 5wt 4pc. Voyant, its my big rivers rod, it handles 6wt line better then 5wt. Great for streamers and heavy nymph rigs.
