St. Croix Rocks

On our trip to Colorado a few weeks ago, I fouled a nice rainbow in the Uncompaghre C&R below the dam. The water was pretty high and fast (or at least compared to what I'm used to), so it was like...

Totally agree with you, River. If James is going to make the trek down there, the least someone can do is suggest a few flies.

And it must be nice to have the time to 'Find Adventure for...

Pleasure Park Colorado

Yeah, I know it sounds like either Disneyland or a brothel, depending on your mental state, but apparently it's a real place on the Gunnison River. I'm helping a buddy drive his RV from Vail down to...

Agree with D. Vaughn's recommendation of getting there via the old boat ramp (or at least I assume that's what it was). I've mainly fished the area near the dam (in fact, from the dam as I don't...

So, would this 'gate' be connected to barbed wire fencing that one could (hypothetically, of course) crawl underneath or between with a fair amount of effort? And would it be in an area where the...

Quite a hike, it sounds like. Don't know how much time you spent near the creek, but some of that is hard hiking. Speaking of the res boundary, I've asked this question before but don't think it...

Never really thought about trying the 5 weight line on the shorter rod, I guess I can give it a try, that would certainly simplify things. I've been using the furled leaders Ben sells through AZ...

Overweight shorter rod?

Dear wife recently gave me a 7.5' 3-weight Reddington Path rod for my birthday, not the most expensive but should be good for fishing tighter streams (my only other rod is a 9' 5 weight.)

I need...
