just WOW

It captures the essence of the Ferry perfectly without being to flowery in the narration. A beautiful piece of work. I know it took many, many hours editing that. Many of you know that I have spent...

My friend Brad Shallenburger is selling his 17' Ski Barge. It has been used only at Lees Ferry as long as I have been guiding there. This was not a guide boat, just a personal boat. Brad is asking...

I've been going there not only for the friends I have in South Fork and Pagossa but for the incredibly varied fishing opportunities. Big river fishing in the Rio Grande, medium size in the upper San...

Massive fire near South Fork, CO

My close friends and fellow guides in South Fork and Pagosa Springs who own and work at Wolf Creek Anglers and fly shop have dodged a bullet so far. It looked like South Fork was going to be wiped...

Marble Tragdey

As some of you know, my wife Maddy has worked at MCL for 11 years. If you checked out of your room during the week, she most likely was in the office if she wasn't shuttling rafting passengers down...

Told ya so

That's what we've been telling everyone. The flood had minimal impact on numbers and condition of the fish. Come enjoy it before the 100's arrive. And when the 100's do arrive, fish cicadas :grillin:

I'll say!! There is a short cut by way of coppermine road. It runs from The Gap to Page but it's dirt all the way - still adds an hour

Higher water today, up to about 15,500 when I left for the day. The new flows will be 9750 to 16,250. The "green line" from November will be about 18" deep after the water gets up in the middle of...

I second that Terry. I've seen several boats hit that rock while wading at 7.5 mile bar. Lucky for all of them none of the passengers were ejected.
