Fishing was great.
Using 3x tippet and #6 leeches beats 6x and #24''s any day in my book.
Hopefully my hands will thaw by the time we leave for pyramid.

I built an 8wt with my neighbor Dave Weaver for this trip... at one point I rigged my 5wt to throw streamers and it felt like a toothpick.
I would strongly suggest that folk go with at least an 8wt...

We were up there for that nasty storm... shut down the lake completely for a couple days. Managed some really nice fish still.
