From my experience, it is still recovering from the fire and furthermore the Rattlesnake Fire has impacted some areas downstream. The river has run very off color, think chocolate milk for weeks.

Hawley is still considered being closed as well, not sure what the latest is but keep that in mind and call ahead if traveling / camping or planning to be anywhere basically in the state.
