Mostly roundtail chubs with a few smallmouth bass and suckers thrown in. Not worth the effort, imho.

The distribution of coastal cutthroat trout throughout the western interrior is a truly amazing feat. Lakes Missoula and Bonneville had much to do with facilitating that distribution due to ice dams.

Could not agree more; my go to rod is a 10' 5 wt. Helios 2 and sitting on the water casting out of a toon that extra foot makes more difference than one would imagine.

Not surprising given that there are dozens of rainbow varieties, for example. Seems natural that browns would also subspeciate. Cutthroat did the same.
