Yes. Southern end of lake was the most clear I saw. Still cleaning my fly almost every cast. Pulling up reeds every fifth cast. I was in approx. 9' of water and my fly down in the weeds every cast.

John, the water is not brown. It is full of floating algae and weed beds. Small particles of green slime. I fished two weeks ago just off the east camp ground area and never got a strike all day....

Silver Creek fishing well on Saturday

I fished the upper pools at Silver Creek on Saturday. Caught and released 7 nice trout in 3 hours. All on varies midge patterns. Others around me were doing good also.

Fly fishing the ponds at PIR Gila River

First bass caught at the PIR area. Olive leach enticed two small bass to strike. Very crowded on a Sunday morning. Nice to be able to wet a line right in town.
