Fishing for bluegill with a 1 weight!

Yesterday’s trip to the lake was an interesting one to say the least! I had a blast chasing fish with a couple fiberglass fly rods, and even caught a couple big fish on my Butter Stick 1 wt! Big fish on light tackle is always fun! Thank you everyone for watching and please subscribe to our channel!

Fun little video, much appreciated!

Just curious, but what kind of kayak are you using and what are the dimensions (LxW)?

I've been threatening to pick up a yak, but never seem to get down to the Valley and just get one...

Thank you!

David, my kayak is an Old Town Predator MX. It is 12 feet long and 37" wide and can hold up to 400 pounds. It is a super stable kayak, but still maneuvers and tracks very well. I have been happy with it so far. The only downside is its weight which is right at about 80 pounds.

Thank you again!
